Domaine Jean Grivot Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers is a wood-aged red wine made with the Pinot Noir variety in the AOC Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru/Côte d'Dor, in Burgundy (France). 
 
Following in the footsteps of her father Étienne and her grandfather Jean, Mathilde Grivot now runs Domaine Jean Grivot with the same enthusiasm as her predecessors. Her aim is to extract the maximum expression of one of the most extraordinary Burgundy terroirs. To do this, she has held onto the winery’s style but has introduced new, more environmentally friendly techniques in the vineyard and in the winery. This has resulted in some pure, energetic and harmonious wines. 
 
Domaine Jean Grivot Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers comes from a vineyard located in the town of Nuits-Saint-Georges. These are old vines planted in limestone and rock soils and organically cultivated without the use of chemicals. The harvest is carried out manually at the optimum point of ripeness. 
 
In the winery, Domaine Jean Grivot Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers is traditionally vinified. The grapes firstly ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and then they spend a minimum of 18 months in French oak barrels before being bottled. 
 
Being one of the more firm and dense wines in the Grivot range, Domaine Jean Grivot Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers is a balanced, elegant and mineral Premier Cru.

Domaine Jean Grivot Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers 2017 is a smooth red wine where the aromas of red fruit, notes of pink flowers and hints of moist earth stand out. On the palate it is concentrated, balanced and very elegant. A medium-bodied wine with soft tannins, lingering acidity and a very seductive saline finish.
