About Finca Luzón Monastrell-Syrah

Finca Luzón Monastrell-Syrah is a red wine from the D.O Jumilla produced by the Luzón winery. This wine is a monovarietal of monastrell.

Finca Luzón Monastrell-Syrah is born from the last harvest that takes place on the winery´s 500 hectares of cultivated land. Once the grapes have been transported to the winery, they undergo the first process of fermentation, which lasts between 6-8 days and takes place at a constantly oscillating temperature between 24-26ºC. Following this, maceration takes place for 2-4 days with the skins still intact.

Finca Luzón Monastrell-Syrah is bottled without being aged, resulting in a young and fresh wine.

Luzón is one of the most prominent wineries in the D.O. Jumilla. Its 500 hectares of vineyards are located in an idyllic landscape: surrounded by olive trees and protected by mountains.

2022

Finca Luzón Monastrell-Syrah 2022 is a smooth, purple-red colour with violet hues. The nose is clean, fruity and intense, with hints of red fruit and very powerful. The palate is soft, warm and meaty, with ripe tannins and very pleasant sensations.
2019

Finca Luzón 2019 is a supple red wine suffused with hints of red berries, nuanced spicy undertones, and balsamic accents. On the palate, it is succulent, vibrant, and harmonious. This wine is a true expression of its varietal character, offering a robust tannic structure and a prolonged, enduring finish.
2017 Finca Luzón 2017 is a young, fruity and juicy wine. A good vintage for discovering all the characteristics of the variety in this tasty wine. Very ripe red and black fruit, and full and sweet on the palate.
2014 Velvety and fleshy, with exquisitely balanced acidity. It exhibits a delightful tannic structure.

Deep purple-red with violet highlights.

Pristine and fruit-forward, it reveals hints of both red and black fruits.
