About Luzón Colección Roble

Luzón Colección Roble is a red wine from the Jumilla region produced. The wine is produced using only Monastrell grapes.

The harvest is carried out both manually and mechanically. The winery spans more than 500 hectares, all of which is used for their products. After being transported to the winey, the grapes undergo alcoholic fermentation followed by maceration with the skins still on in stainless steel tanks. This second phase is carried out at a strict controlled temperature of 24-26 degrees.

Before being bottled and marketed, the wine undergoes a short ageing process, spending 3 months in French and American oak barrels.

Luzón is located in the north of the Murcia region and surrounded by mountains. It is one of the most prominent wineries of the Jumilla area. It's trademark grape is the Monastrell.

2020

Luzón Colección Roble 2020 is a richly concentrated red, boasting a cherry-red hue with purplish edges. Olfactorily, it is vibrant, unveiling red fruit nuances, sweet spices, toasted undertones, and coffee. On the palate, it is robust, velvety, and invigorating, with ripe, sweet tannins.
2017 Luzón Colección Roble 2017 is a wine with a cherry red colour and a violet rim. The nose is dominated by aromas of fresh red fruit, sweet spices, toasted elements and notes of coffee. On the palate it is smooth, fleshy and fresh, with mature and sweet tannins.
2014 Vibrant and fruity, it exhibits a rich, fleshy character. It features hints of spice and soft, ripe tannins.

Garnet hue with reddish highlights.

Robust and articulate. With nuances of fruit and toasted elements against a pleasant backdrop of oak.
