Felipe Gutiérrez de la Vega, in addition to being a visionary in the realm of natural sweet wines, is an avid enthusiast of literature and music. This is reflected in his wine collection, which features names inspired by titles, characters, or phrases that have made a significant impact on him over the years. Literary and musical masterpieces such as Stendhal's "The Red and the Black," Joyce's "Ulysses," Bellini's "Casta Diva," or Dylan's "Mr. Tambourine Man" have provided creative sparks for his wine-making process. In the case of Gutiérrez de la Vega Recóndita Armonía, the name is derived from the opening aria of Puccini's renowned opera "Tosca." In this famous piece, the protagonist describes the hidden harmony and beauty he perceives in his painting of Mary Magdalene, whom he is portraying within the church.

Crafted from the red monastrell grape, Gutiérrez de la Vega Recóndita Armonía is a sweet wine born of vines aged 60 years, rooted in chalky marl soils at an elevation of 472 meters above sea level. The vineyard is tended with respect for the environment, eschewing chemical products, and the grapes are harvested late in the season by hand. At the winery, the grapes are destemmed, crushed, and placed into 300-liter barrels with indigenous yeasts. The fermentation is naturally halted due to the high sugar concentration, without fortification, and the wine is then pressed into 500-liter French oak barrels where it matures for three years.
