About Llopart Ex Vite Gran Reserva Brut

Llopart Ex Vite Reserva Brut is a sparkling wine produced by LLopart in Subirats (Barcelona), specifically in the territory that corresponds to Corpinnat, the new EU collective brand that protects the large producers of the Penedés region.

LLopart is a family-run winery with a long winemaking tradition. In 1385, they documented the transfer of some vines located in the current Heredad Can Llopart to Bernat Llopart. However, it was not until 1887 when they finished the first bottle of sparkling wine, in the country house that the family has in Subirats.

Heredad Can Llopart is the family farm. It is located on a hill with prominent slopes at 340 metres above sea level. The climate in this area has very mild winters, and sunny summers that are not too warm. The mountain range of Montserrat protects the vineyards from the cold northern winds during the winter, making temperatures milder.

LLopart makes all their sparkling wines using the traditional champenoise method,seeking the excellence of all their products from the maximum quality of the raw material, the grape.

Llopart Ex Vite Reserva Brut is a sparkling wine made from Xarello and Maccabeu from the best vineyards located in the family farm, Heredad Can Llopart.

This sparkling wine is made from reserva wines aged in oak barrels, with wild yeasts from the vine and with a liqueur that has been achieved with a unique formula from the end of the 19th century. This wine is aged for a minimum of 60 months.

Llopart Ex Vite Reserva Brut is a creamy, ample sparkling wine, with many shades. With very bubbles, it has a powerful aroma, with notes of very ripe white fruit and roasted dried nuts that are quite present. In the mouth it is voluminous and quite long lasting. A classical-style sparkling wine that will never go out of fashion.

The production of Llopart Ex Vite Reserva Brut is limited to 5300 bottles per year.

Llopart Ex Vite Reserva Brut 2011 is a dry sparkling wine (with 5 g/L of residual sugar). This wine boasts a delicate, fine bubble structure that is elegant and seamlessly integrated, a testament to its prolonged bottle aging. It presents a golden, radiant hue to the eye, and continues its journey with a penetrating and powerful nose, exuding elegance and a rich aromatic profile where a symphony of dried fruit, toasted, balsamic, and smoky notes emerge. On the palate, it is expansive and exceptionally flavourful, silky and delightful, with a creamy texture and nuances of baked fruits. The finish is extensive and enduring.
2006 Its palate is slightly bitter and shows a good acidity. Powerful but delicious.

Bright straw colour.

Elegant aroma, with lots of character, reminiscent of green grass and wither flowers with hints of reduction.
