About López Cristóbal La Linde

López Cristóbal La Linde is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero produced by the López Cristobal winery. This wine is a single-variety Tinta del País, to which Merlot is also added.

The grape comes from the La Linde estate. The vineyard is around 20 years old and grows at an altitude of 770 metres on muddy limestone soil. The grape harvest is carried out manually, using fruit boxes to transport the grapes so as to maintain the berries in the best condition possible. Once in the winery, the grapes pass over a selection table. 

The harvested fruit is left to ferment in barrels at a temperature of 23ºC. López Cristóbal La Linde ages in new French oak barrels for three months before resting for the same amount of time in the bottle.
