About Miros de Ribera Vendimia Seleccionada

Miros de Ribera Vendimia Seleccionada is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero produced by Bodega Peñafiel.

This wine is a single-varietal Tempranillo (100%). The grape selection is carried out in the vineyard before the additional selection on the sorting tables in the winery and subsequent destemming.

Regarding the production process, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel truncated cone-shaped tanks with a capacity of 17,000 kg, enhancing qualitative and quantitative extractions for 12 days. After fermentation, daily pump-overs and punch-downs were performed for 18 days with the grape skins. Malolactic fermentation was carried out in the stainless steel truncated cone-shaped tanks. The aging process is conducted in French oak barrels from four different cooperages.
