Montes Alpha Malbec is not merely a varietal expression; it is the embodiment of a philosophy that marries enological precision, a connection with nature, and a spiritual perspective on the art of winemaking.
 
Since its inception, Montes has transformed Chilean viticulture, not only through the quality of its wines—ranked among the 50 most admired brands in the world, according to Drinks International—but also through its holistic approach. The winery, designed according to feng shui principles, blends seamlessly with the landscape and was constructed with consideration for the flow of energy, the harmony of elements, and minimal intervention in the winemaking process. Gregorian music envelops the barrel room, where the wine rests as if breathing in time with tranquility.
 
Montes Alpha Malbec is crafted from handpicked grapes from the vineyards of Apalta and Marchigüe, two complementary regions that add complexity to the blend. Although both offer granite-origin soils, in Apalta the malbec vines are planted in shallow soils with low water retention, while Marchigüe provides flatter surfaces with high water retention. Following a delicate vinification and controlled fermentation, the wine matures for 12 months in French oak barrels, half of which are new, achieving a perfect harmony between fruit, wood, and freshness.
 
The result is an enveloping and elegant malbec, ideal for enjoying with roasted meats, game dishes, or aged cheeses; a red wine that embodies the soul of the Montes project: a relentless pursuit of excellence, balance, and emotion in every glass.
