Today, the winery is managed by the brothers Hans Michael and Andreas Nittnaus, supported by their parents, Hans and Christine. Together, they blend tradition with a modern vision, fully exploiting the unique climate near Lake Neusiedl and the fertile soils of the region to craft wines distinguished by their quality and character.

Their Nittnaus Riesling Selection is the perfect testament that a white wine can steal the spotlight even in a land of reds. It thrives in sandy, gravelly, and limestone soils, imparting a distinctive freshness and minerality. The harvest is conducted at the precise point of ripeness, and the grapes are swiftly transported to the press for a gentle pressing that respects the fruit's delicacy.

Before fermentation, the must is clarified with care, ensuring a clean and controlled start. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks—no wood involved—allowing the fruit and minerality to shine on their own. Subsequently, the wine rests on its fine lees, gaining texture and complexity without losing its freshness.
