About Menade Nosso Verdejo Natural

Nosso is a white wine from produced by the Menade winery. This wine is made using only the Verdejo grape variety, which is the most commonly used white variety in Castilla y León.

The grapes used come from the Finca Menade, an estate situated 750 metres above sea level near the river Duero. The soils on the vineyards are mainly clay and stony varieties.

Nosso is produced and made in a natural manner, with no harmful products being used at any stage in the cultivation or winemaking process.

After the harvest has been carried out, the grapes are swiftly transported to the winery, where the grapes are left to ferment with wild yeasts at temperatures ranging between 18°C and 24°C.

A second fermentation is then carried out, where the wine takes on its volume and smoothness. Nosso then ages with the skins for between four to five months.

Before being placed onto the market, Nosso then ages for another 3 months in the bottle.

Menade is a winery founded in 2005 by the Sanz brothers. They specialise in white wines that grow from vines that are no older than 30 years old.

Menade Nosso Verdejo Natural 2023 is a youthful and delicate white wine that captivates from the outset. On the nose, it unfurls an enchanting bouquet of chamomile, honey, beeswax, and a subtle hint of white pepper. Upon tasting, one can discern a slight bitterness characteristic of the Verdejo grape, accompanied by a balanced acidity and a creamy texture on the palate. Stone fruit notes such as peach and apricot stand out, along with fresh nuances of grape must and vine. A wine with distinctive character and vivacity.
2019 Nosso 2019 is a white wine with aromas of stone fruits on the nose, accompanied by herbal nuances of thyme and fennel as well as a mineral touch. There may be a subtle carbonic presence that makes it even more refreshing and balanced on the palate. It has a slightly bitter note at the end, which is characteristic of the variety.
2014 Fruit-laden nuances. It is delicate and sophisticated, featuring mineral undertones.
