About Emilio Moro Polvorete

Emilio Moro Polvorete is a white wine crafted by Emilio Moro using the godello grape variety in the DO Bierzo, located in the region of Castilla y León, Spain.
 
Bodegas Emilio Moro is a family-run enterprise established in 1891 in Pesquera de Duero, in the province of Valladolid, which has since strived to become a leading international brand. Three generations have achieved this aim, supported by three fundamental pillars: tradition, innovation, and social responsibility.
 
With over 375 hectares of owned vineyards, Emilio Moro Polvorete originates from young vines situated in the DO Bierzo, in flat areas with deep soils. These are vines planted in clay-limestone soils at more than 750 metres above sea level, cultivated according to the traditional agriculture of the area.
 
In the winery, the grapes for Emilio Moro Polvorete are destemmed and gently pressed. Subsequently, the resulting must ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, which ensures maximum freshness.
 
Emilio Moro Polvorete represents Emilio Moro's venture in Bierzo. A cheerful, playful, and easy-drinking white wine, perfect for exploring the fresh and expressive godello variety.
