Recaredo Reserva Particular is a sparkling wine produced by Josep Mata Capellades, the founder of Recaredo winery.

This sparkling wine is a coupage of Macabeo and Xarel·lo which originate from vineyards that are only cultivated with natural and organic components and respectful, observational and minimal intervention farming. Recaredo Reserva Particular is aged for 6 and half years. It has the essence of the Mediterranean concentrated in a bottle.

It is recommended to decant this sparkling wine before serving.

Recaredo Reserva Particular 2011 is a mature sparkling wine boasting delectable scents of ripe white fruit, citrusy undertones, and hints of anise and dried nuts. On the palate, it is lively, silky, and harmonious. A Corpinnat with delicate effervescence, offering equal parts of acidity and vivacity.
2003 Bright straw yellow colour with golden reflections. Extremely thin bubbles which form a slow rosary which does not end in a crown.
2002 A cava with an extraordinary and extremely long mid palate. Its notes of fruit and its toasted aromas are felt along with spicy notes wrapped in a great creaminess. Very wide and well balanced cava with an excellent acidity and a perfectly integrated fizziness. Very nice end creamy finish.  Elegant and friendly cava. A pleasure to be enjoyed alone or in company.

Intense, elegant and complex aromas. Its noble toasted notes are released along with hints of nuts and spices provided during its short ageing in wood. Fleshy and intense notes of stewed ripe white fruit are also felt along with creamy and buttery nuances. Its impressive mineral background rounds out this more than suggestive set.
