About Torremorón Tinto Roble

Torremorón Tinto Roble is a red wine produced by the Torremorón winery in the Ribera del Duero region.

The winery was founded back in 1957 at the hands of 57 winemakers, in the municipality of Pedrosa del Duero (Burgos), where growing grapes dates back to the middle ages.

Torremorón Tinto Roble is made using Tinto Fino grapes. The grapes come from old vineyards aged between 30 and 60 years that are planted at around 800m above sea level. The majority of the vineyards lie on the north bank of the river Duero.

The harvest is carefully carried out manually.

Torremorón Tinto Roble is produced using traditional methods. The must ferments at a controlled temperature and undergoes maceration for 25 days. Following this, the wine is aged for 4 months in french and american oak barrels.
