Who said legends couldn't be reborn? Sometimes, it simply requires looking at the land with reverence and once again listening to the stories the vineyard has to tell. This is how Viña Monty Graciano Reserva was born: from a keen observation of the Rioja landscape and the desire to give voice to a noble variety that always knew how to bide its time.
 
Bodegas Montecillo, with over 150 years of history behind it, is a name synonymous with tradition and expertise. Established in 1870, it is the third oldest winery in Rioja, and its cellars (underground wineries carved into the rock) house vintages dating back to 1926. Its philosophy remains unchanged: respect for the vineyard, meticulous selection, careful aging, and a way of understanding wine as something to be treasured, shared, and remembered.
 
Viña Monty Graciano Reserva is a red wine 100% Graciano that combines the freshness of Rioja Alta with the Mediterranean warmth of Rioja Oriental. The grapes, hand-harvested from unique plots in Cenicero and the Ebro meander, are vinified separately and undergo extended macerations to extract their full character. After aging for 28 months in semi-new French oak barrels and resting for 18 months in the bottle, the wine achieves an intense, elegant, and profoundly varietal expression.
