Bodegas Montecillo, established in 1870 and the third oldest in Rioja, is synonymous with tradition and respect for the vineyard. Their expertise is evident in the careful selection of grapes, meticulous vinification, and aging in high-quality oak barrels, all refined in the tranquillity of their historic underground cellars (known in Rioja as calados), where treasures have been preserved since 1926, the founding year of the DOCa. Rioja.
 
Viña Monty Garnacha Reserva is an exquisite red wine, 100% Garnacha, born from the fusion of two iconic vineyards in Rioja Alta and Rioja Oriental. The combination of these plots, with century-old vines and diverse soils, endows the wine with a harmonious structure, balanced acidity, and profound colour intensity. Following artisanal fermentation and aging for 24 months in predominantly new French oak barrels, the wine is refined for 20 months in the calados, achieving unique complexity and elegance.
