About Viña Zorzal Cuatro del Cuatro

Viña Zorzal Cuatro del Cuatro is a red wine crafted by Bodegas Zorzal in Corella, DO Navarra.

Bodegas Zorzal was established in 1989 with the aim of reviving the region's indigenous grape varieties and with the philosophy that wine originates from the vineyard. They currently own 40 hectares situated near the town of Fitero, where the gentle terrain creates a small oasis among the many vineyards in the lower Ebro valley, thus offering an added freshness. Of these, 25 hectares are planted with Garnacha, while the remainder is cultivated with Graciano and Tempranillo, alongside white varieties such as Garnacha Blanca.

Viña Zorzal Cuatro del Cuatro is made from Graciano sourced from a 37-year-old vineyard located in Ombatillo, Corella. The grapes are hand-harvested in 8 kg boxes with meticulous selection. Viña Zorzal Cuatro del Cuatro undergoes fermentation with native yeasts in 500-litre French oak barrels and is aged for 12 months in used 300-litre French oak barrels.

Viña Zorzal Cuatro del Cuatro is a tribute to Antonio, the creator of this brand, who was captivated by this variety.
