About Viña Zorzal Señora de las Alturas Tinto

Viña Zorzal Señora de las Alturas Tinto is a red wine from the DO Navarra, crafted by Bodegas Zorzal in Corella, Navarra. Established in 1989 with the aim of reviving native varieties of the region and with the philosophy that wine originates from the vineyard.

Currently, they own 40 hectares located near the town of Fitero, where the gentle terrain forms a small oasis amidst the numerous vineyards in the lower Ebro valley, thus providing an extra touch of freshness. 25 hectares are planted with Garnacha, while the remainder consists of Graciano and Tempranillo along with white varieties such as Garnacha Blanca. The harvest is conducted manually.

The production of Viña Zorzal Señora de las Alturas Tinto begins with fermentation in open 500-litre French oak barrels, followed by transfer to second-use 225-litre French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and subsequent ageing.

Viña Zorzal Señora de las Alturas Tinto is the most classic and complex wine of the winery.
