On the nose, it stands out for its intensity, offering aromas of lemon, lime, candied lemon peel, and a hint of dried herbs. On the palate, it is a dry and refreshing wine, with notable acidity and a light body. This achievement would not have been possible without the collaborative efforts of Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, two friends who, in their home garage, combined their complementary skills to achieve the success of their project. Similarly, in the world of wine, Nathan Lee Roberts and Duncan Arnot Meyers, childhood friends who used to cycle through the fields of Napa, have also revolutionised Californian viticulture. With a focus on cool-climate vineyards and a dedication to producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of each plot, since their beginnings in 2001, Arnot-Roberts have implemented practices that have now become commonplace in traditional wineries. With close relationships with farmers, distinctive wines from selected vineyards, and low-intervention winemaking techniques, they offer us a collection of balanced, authentic, and sustainable wines worthy of tasting.  

Thus, Arnot-Roberts Yorkville Highlands is a white wine crafted from sauvignon blanc sourced from Randle Hill Vineyard in Mendocino County, California. Vines planted in 1982 on a steep hillside of eroded schist, situated at 1,100 feet elevation, where they enjoy warm days and cool nights. It is cultivated organically, and the harvest is done manually at the optimal moment of ripeness. In the winery, the grapes are sorted, destemmed, and directly pressed. The obtained must ferments in stainless steel tanks using exclusively native yeasts. Afterwards, the wine ages for 10 months in a combination of neutral French oak (75%) and stainless steel (25%).

As a result, Arnot-Roberts Yorkville Highlands is a sauvignon blanc full of character and freshness that has received high praise for its elegance and expression of place. Undoubtedly, a perfect example of how the combination of friendship, passion, and profound respect for the land can achieve exceptional wines.
