This red wine is a true plunge into the Atlantic, a vibrant expression of freshness and depth, crafted by Anna Jorgensen with a vision that defies the expectations of the Alentejo, in Portugal.

After years of training and experience in prestigious wineries in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and in Côte-Rôtie alongside Stéphane Ogier, Anna returned to Portugal with a clear purpose: to unveil a new Alentejo, one that is fresher, more precise, and full of energy. From vineyards ranging from 700 metres in the Serra de São Mamede to coastal lands caressed by sea breezes, her approach embraces the exploration of terroir, organic cultivation, and meticulous viticulture to bring forth wines that are vibrant and full of character.

Cortes de Cima Salino Tinto is a single-vineyard wine, crafted entirely from cabernet franc, organically grown on the slopes of the Serra de São Luís, where the Mira River merges with the ocean. Fermented with minimal intervention, it macerates for 25 days with gentle extraction and ages for 20 months in stainless steel tanks, highlighting its purity, structure, and tension.

Thus, Cortes de Cima Salino Tinto lives up to its name. An elegant and profound red, with the freshness of the Atlantic and the precision of unadulterated winemaking. A wine that not only captures the essence of its land but also the bold vision of those who dare to explore new horizons.
