About Tábula Damana 5 Tempranillo

Damana 5 is a red wine from the D.O Ribera del Duero produced by Bodegas y Viñedos Tábula. This winery was established in 2002 and is located in Olivares del Duero (Valladolid).

Damana 5 is 100% produced from the varietal, Tempranillo. The grapes originate from thei own vineyards planted over 10 years ago in sandy loam soils. The grapes are harvested by hand in small plastic containers and are transported to the winery in a refrigerated van.

For production, the grapes are destemmed mechanically to be cold macerated for 2 days. Subsequently, the must is fermented in stainless steel containers for 15 days.

Lastly, Damana 5 is aged for 6 months in French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels.

Damana 5 2022 is a light-bodied red wine that will surprise you with its freshness. On the nose, it offers straightforward and fruity aromas, with prominent notes of dark morello cherries and baked plums, accompanied by a hint of white pepper that adds a distinctive character. On the palate, it is fluid and juicy, with a medium body that makes it very pleasant to drink. Its finish is direct and of medium length, displaying the firm and expressive character of Ribera del Duero. Ideal for enjoying from 2025 onwards.

Damana 5 Magnum 2018 is a fruit-forward red wine. On the nose, it is enticing and vibrant. The palate continues this theme, with hints of cherries, plums, and blueberries, supported by light tannins.

 

 

2013 Fruity and fresh. Good acidity and the tannins are well integrated. This is a young wine, bold and very tasty.

Cherry red, medium-high body.

Medium-high intensity. Red fruit aromas combined with spicy and toasted notes.
2012 On the palate it is pleasant, fresh and fruity due to its youthfulness.

Cherry red colour with medium-high robe.

On the nose the aromas are red fruit with spice touches from the barrel.
