Domaine Jean Grivot Bourgogne Pinot Noir is a wood-aged red wine made by Domaine Jean Grivot with the Pinot Noir variety in the AOC Bourgogne, in Burgundy (France). 
 
Domaine Jean Grivot is a family winery with three centuries of history that has been adapting to the new times generation after generation. The domaine, which is located in Vosne-Romanée, is currently managed by Mathilde Grivot, a meticulous winegrower who aims to showcase the balance and expression of the terroir. 
 
Domaine Jean Grivot Bourgogne Pinot Noir starts life in a magnificent plot very close to Vosne. These are old vines planted on clay-limestone soils. Although the vineyards are not certified organic, they are cultivated using respectful agriculture with organic treatments that will not harm the natural balance of the terroir. 
 
In the winery, the best grapes are meticulously selected to make Domaine Jean Grivot Bourgogne Pinot Noir. Firstly, the grapes ferment spontaneously with native yeasts and then the wine ages in French oak barrels for a minimum of 18 months. 
 
Made by one of the most prestigious domains in Burgundy, Domaine Jean Grivot Bourgogne Pinot Noir is a generous and elegant wine. A traditional Pinot Noir with input from the new generation.

Domaine Jean Grivot Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2017 is a smooth red wine with aromas of red and black fruit, violet notes and hints of spice. On the palate it is smooth, fruity and very elegant. A well-balanced wine with refreshing acidity that stays lively from start to finish. The finish is lingering and very expressive.
