Enate Reserva 2020 is a wine that envelops the senses with its depth and intense character. Visually, it presents a deep red hue, almost ruby, which invites exploration of its aroma. About Enate Reserva

A truly sensory experience. There is no better introduction to the character of Enate Reserva, a red wine that pays homage to elegance and a passion for art. 
 
Established in 1991 in Salas Altas (Huesca), Enate has become a benchmark thanks to the respect this winery shows for tradition and artisanal production methods. Simultaneously, the winery incorporates modern techniques, achieving a unique blend of innovation and excellence. From this union emerges Enate Reserva. 
 
A vineyard at an altitude of 600 metres in the DO Somontano, located in the northeast of Spain, is where the origins of this single-varietal cabernet sauvignon can be traced. It thrives on calcareous, low-fertility soils, under the protection of a continental climate that imparts freshness to its wines. All this character is transferred to the final result through meticulous production. 
 
Enate Reserva is hand-harvested and destemmed and crushed immediately upon arrival at the winery. Once the harvest pulp is obtained, Enate Reserva is transferred to stainless steel tanks where it undergoes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Finally, Enate Reserva is racked and moved to French oak barrels where it will rest for approximately 12 months before being bottled. But it doesn't end there: its evolution continues in the bottle, with a minimum of 24 months before being released to the market. 
 
Enate Reserva is not a wine to be taken lightly. Indeed, it is recommended to open the bottle about half an hour before consumption to fully appreciate its complexity.

Enate Reserva 2019 is a wine that stands out for its maturity and complexity. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of black cherries and ripe plums, complemented by a hint of spices such as black pepper and clove. Upon tasting, its body is robust and enveloping, highlighting flavours of red and black fruits combined with subtle notes of cocoa and vanilla, derived from its time in barrel. Its finish is long and elegant, with well-integrated tannins that provide texture and persistence. This particular vintage benefits from unique climatic conditions, which ensured healthy and well-ripened grapes, resulting in a balanced and memorable wine.
2018

Enate Reserva 2018 is a subtly matured and slightly full-bodied red wine. On the nose, it reveals aromas of black fruits such as blackberry and plum, accompanied by a hint of vanilla and spices, a result of its barrel aging. On the palate, its concentrated profile unfolds with smooth tannins, offering a balanced passage and a lingering finish. Perfect for those seeking a wine with character and elegance.
2017

Enate Reserva 2017 unveils an exquisite spectrum of scents where blackberry and ripe currant mature in an embrace with hints of fresh mint. Upon tasting, one discovers layers of vanilla and pepper, interwoven with a whisper of bay leaf and a delicate strand of blond tobacco. This red wine, with its harmonious concentration, promises a refined maturation that will enchant the palate, revealing its spiced character with every sip.
2016
Enate Reserva 2016 unveils a spectrum of scents accentuated by ripe black fruits such as plums and blackberries, interwoven with a hint of spice and an undertone of smooth vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied and refined, delivering a silky texture and seamlessly integrated tannins that lead to a prolonged and delightful finish.
 
2013

Enate Reserva 2013 is an opulent red wine boasting profound aromas of stewed fruits, balsamic undertones, and a spicy backdrop. On the palate, it is silky, all-encompassing, and exudes sophistication. This wine is endowed with refined tannins and an extensive finish accented by toasted nuances.

2004 A long, tasty and fresh, very expressive red wine. It shows a good attack and silky and fleshy mid palate. Creamy notes of fruit are noticed along with nice and good balsamic and vanilla hints. A wine with a good acidity and polished tannins. Long and persistent, very nice finish, which leaves final toasted notes.  Despite being a long-aged Reserva, this is an easy-drinking and very tasty wine.

Bright and intense maroon colour with orange reflections. Medium-high robe.

Intense and complex wine. On its expressive background of grass and spices, its fleshy notes of stewed wild fruit appear along with balsamic aromas, creamy nuances provided by the oak and hints of tobacco and coffee.
2003 Structured and fleshy palate, the mouth is upholstered by high quality tannins. Mouth is long, with reminiscents of toasted and tobacco.

On the nose, the wine displays a broad and complex range aromatic: compote and wild aromas (blackberries, raspberries), balsam (mint) and a subtle background spicy (vanilla, pepper, bay leaf).
