From Salas Bajas (Huesca), Enate cultivates 500 hectares of its own vineyards spread across Salas Altas, Cregenzán, and Barbastro, where cultivation is carried out manually, adhering closely to the wisdom of past generations that have made DO Somontano one of the most promising regions on the Peninsula. Indeed, Enate has become a benchmark thanks to its vision that blends innovation and tradition, wine and art. Each label is an exclusive piece, the result of collaborations with renowned artists like Eduardo Chillida, Antoni Tàpies, or Antonio Saura, transforming each bottle into a complete sensory experience.
 
Enate Merlot-Merlot is hand-harvested and brought to the winery, where the grapes are crushed and left to macerate with the skins for a time, capturing all the aroma and flavour of the Merlot variety. From there, Enate Merlot-Merlot is transferred to stainless steel tanks for fermentation. Finally, Enate Merlot-Merlot will rest for 15 months in new French oak barrels (where it will also undergo malolactic fermentation), before being rounded off in the bottle.

Enate Merlot Merlot 2019 is a red wine that, upon olfaction, exhibits a bouquet in which the scents of ripe fruits such as plums and blackberries are prominent, interwoven with a delicate hint of vanilla and cocoa, a courtesy of its barrel aging. On the palate, it boasts a full body and a silky texture that envelops the taste buds. The flavors of dark fruits are reaffirmed, complemented by a balanced tannic structure and a lingering finish.
2018 The Enate Merlot-Merlot 2018 is a red wine that, upon olfaction, reveals a broad spectrum of scents, prominently featuring ripe red fruits intermingled with balsamic nuances and spicy undertones, sweet notes reminiscent of dehydrated stone fruits, and roasted and cocoa touches derived from its maturation. It is a full-bodied and fleshy red wine that glides across the palate with sweet tannins, leaving a lasting finish.
2015 Enate Merlot Merlot 2015 is a richly concentrated red wine, exuding potent aromas of ripe red fruit, balsamic undertones, and hints of toast. On the palate, it is fleshy, expansive, and embracing. It exhibits fine, sweet tannins, seamlessly integrated acidity, and a prolonged, spicy finish.
2010 Enveloping, smooth and fleshy. Fruity and sweet with toasted and red fruit memories. Good acidity and well integrated tannins. Very long finish.

Deep and intense red.

Complex with good aromatic intensity. Presence of ripe red fruit with spicy, balsamic and toast.
2007 Very wide and bulky attack and a very good, meaty and tasty mid palate, with intense and complex notes of creamy fruit. It shows good toasted aromas and some light animal hints. Its fresh acidity and its sweet tannins are well integrated. Long and lingering finish with a strong and caracteristic dryness.  An elegant and powerful wine from Somontano with lots of character.

Intense cherry red colour with intense red edges. Dark and bright wine with a high robe and dense tears which stain the glass.

High aromatic intensity with powerful and complex aromas. Its intense notes of fleshy ripe red fruit with a touch of liquor are mixed with spices, cocoa, milky notes and elegant toasted aromas on an intense balsamic background.
2005 Strong body of tannin on the palate is broad and fleshy, and the upholstery is sweet tannins of great quality. Final mouth very persistent with hints of mineral and leather.

Color intense cherry and very deep.

Intense nose, spicy and complex reminiscent eucalyptus, cocoa, strawberry jam and roasting notes made by the aged.
