About Parés Baltà Ginesta

New vintage of this singular organic white wine produced by the winery Parés Baltà. Its vineyards are grown at 170-750 metres above sea level, thus providing a unique character to each of their wines.
Parés Baltà Ginesta is a white wine from the D.O. Penedés made of Gewürztraminer grapes from a single estate (Finca Cal Rossel), located over 500 metres above sea level. After the extremely careful and selected grape harvest, it is fermented at 15º in stainless steel deposits for 16 days.

2023

Parés Baltà Ginesta 2023 exhibits a crystalline straw-yellow hue. On the nose, it is distinguished by its aromatic profile, with intense citrus aromas such as orange and lemon peel, complemented by floral notes of orange blossom and jasmine. On the palate, it is a full-bodied wine, balanced by a good acidity that promises excellent ageing potential. Its finish leaves a pleasant aftertaste of sweet citrus, making this wine a fresh and vibrant choice.

2013 Good attack, dry and very fresh wine during all the mid-palate. Unctuous texture. Fresh fruits with some sweet notes. Excellent acidity which will provide liveliness over time. Balanced. Long and persistent finish which leaves citric aromas at retro-olfaction.

Pale straw yellor colour with subtle golden reflections. Very clean and bright.

Clean, aromatic and expressive nose. Intense reminiscences of white flowers and fruit, citrus fruits above all. Clear aromas of roses and mandarins.
2012 Good, dry, fresh attack. Rich texture. Fresh fruit with some sugary notes. Excellent acidity that keeps the wine alive. Balanced. Long and persistent finish leaving citrus aromas at retro-olfaction.

Clean, aromatic and expressive. Intense nuances of white flowers and fruit, especially citrus. Clear aromas of roses and manderins. 
2011 Good wine with a dry and very fresh attack, and a dry and fresh mid palate. Slightly oily texture. It shows notes of fresh fruit and some sweet notes. Excellent acidity. Very balanced wine with a long finish and a pleasant sweet and citrus aftertaste.

Straw yellow colour with delicate golden reflections. Very bright and clean, almost transparent wine.

Great aromatic intensity with floral and fruit aromas, with dominant citrus notes. Crisp aromas of roses and tangerines.
2010 Very dry, powerful wine. Good travel from bitter to sweet. Mineral character again we found the aromas in the nose. Nice sweet citrus aftertaste.
