About Celler del Roure Vermell

Simply Vermell (red in Valencian). Few more words are needed to introduce this red wine, intense, with character and unforgettable. The winery behind it is Celler del Roure, and it is cultivated in the vineyards of Moixent, in the heart of the Comunidad Valenciana, from the indigenous varieties arcos and mandó.

Celler del Roure is a project that blends tradition and curiosity: they revive local varieties and ancient techniques to give them a contemporary twist. In the case of Vermell, this translates into an ageing process of 4 to 6 months in buried clay vats, ranging from 600 to 2800 litres, a millennia-old method that allows the wine to express itself freely and fully reflect its origin.

Vermell is red because it is authentic. Red because it embodies the land, the grapes, and the history it carries within. Red because it does not go unnoticed.
