Ederra Crianza 2021 is a red wine that captivates with its delicate harmony of aromas, where red fruits, such as raspberry, intertwine with violet flowers and a gentle hint of liquorice. The wine is enriched with subtle spices and a slight roasted aftertaste, evoking notes of vanilla and coconut. About Ederra Crianza

Spain ranks as the third-largest wine producer globally. With these figures, it is remarkably easy to find excellent wines in any corner of the Peninsula, particularly aged reds, where a reasonable balance between quality and price allows one to savour the finest quality. Nevertheless, within this category, there are various classes with options that stand out above the rest. One such option is Ederra Crianza. 
 
Crafted in the DOCa.Rioja, with garnacha and tempranillo, Ederra Crianza is a wine that distinguishes itself from others. Specifically, Ederra Crianza is cultivated in the proprietary vineyards owned by Bodegas Bilbaínas in the Rioja Alta, on clay and limestone soils, deficient in organic matter. Here, under an Atlantic climate (characterised by harsh winters, mild summers, and moderate rainfall), the vines are meticulously tended to give life to this wine. 
 
Ederra Crianza is harvested and brought to the winery, where the grapes are destemmed, crushed, and left to macerate for about 15 days before commencing fermentation in stainless steel tanks. From here, Ederra Crianza is transferred to American oak barrels where it undergoes a minimum maturation of 12 months. 
 
Ederra Crianza is much more than a Rioja wine: it is evidence that tradition, care, and time remain the best allies in creating reds with soul, balance, and enduring elegance.

2020 Ederra Crianza 2020 is a red wine where fresh red fruits appear accompanied by aromas of violets and hints of toast and spices. The palate has very polished tannins and a punctuated acidity that adds freshness. A flavoursome red wine that is easy to drink, with excellent value for money that makes it a perfect companion for everyday life.
2019 Ederra Crianza 2019 is a red wine that, on the nose, exudes fragrances reminiscent of raspberries, complemented by floral hints, licorice, and roasted nuances derived from its aging process.
