Parotet 2022 is a red wine with a fresh and vibrant character. On the nose, it reveals notes of forest fruits such as blueberries and ripe blackberries, accompanied by subtle floral hints. About Parotet

Parotet is a red wine from the D.O. Valencia produced by Celler del Roure. The winery's estates are located in Moixent and in the Valle de las Alcusses, in the southeast of the autonomous community of Valencia. 

Parotet is a blend of the mandó and arcos grape varieties, sourced from vineyards with sandy-loam soil spanning approximately 6 hectares, situated at an altitude of about 600 metres above sea level.

The production of Parotet begins with a manual harvest in 15 kg boxes. Subsequently, fermentation with indigenous yeast and a 20-day maceration are carried out. The malolactic fermentation takes place in clay amphorae with lees stirring.

Finally, this wine undergoes ageing in buried clay amphorae of 2,800 litres.

Parotet is a pioneering wine for Celler del Roure. It is their first wine aged in clay amphorae and marks the first occasion where the mandó variety takes centre stage.

Parotet 2021 emerges as a vivacious and succulent red, with fruit taking center stage. Olfactorily, it unfurls notes of ripe cherries and fresh raspberries, complemented by a hint of wild herbs that enhance its crispness. On the palate, its youthfulness is manifested through a supple texture and chalky tannins that introduce an element of rusticity while maintaining sophistication. A wine that beckons to be savored for its briskness and forthright fruitiness. Astonishingly genuine and replete with subtleties.
 
2020

Parotet 2020 is a succulent red wine redolent with floral aromas, nuances of ripe fruit, and hints of white pepper. On the palate, it is remarkably supple and lightweight. An effortlessly drinkable wine that boasts a pronounced minerality and an unexpected vivacity, considering the region's elevated temperatures.
2019 Parotet 2018 is a juicy red wine with intense aromas of ripe red fruit, floral aromas, mineral nuances and notes of red liquorice. On the palate it is light, sweet and fresh. A very fruity wine with a very good acidity and a persistent finish.
2018 Parotet 2018 is a succulent red wine, boasting robust aromas of ripe red fruit, floral bouquets, mineral undertones, and hints of red licorice. On the palate, it is light-bodied, lusciously sweet, and vivacious. This wine is exceptionally fruit-forward, with excellent acidity and a lingering finish.
2012 Good entry, with enough fruit, good acidity. Attractive, warm and complex. Persistent finish.

Cherry red with purple hues.

Intense and greedy. Presence of much fruit, especially ripe red fruit, mineral nuances and red liquorice.
