About Por Tí

Por tí is a red wine from the Jumilla D.O region, produced by the Luzón winery. This wine is a blend of 2 grape varieties, Monastrell (80%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (20%).

The grapes used to make Por tí come from vines which are around 50 years old and are situated at 650metres above sea level.

The harvest is carried out manually, with the grapes being transported to the winery in small boxes of 10-15kg in capacity in order to avoid damage before arrival. At the winery, grapes are selected at a selection table before the barreling and vinification process.

The must is then fermented at a controlled temperatura of 28ºC-30ºC for around 10 days. In the next fase of maceration, the skin remains on the the grapes for the following 10 and 15 days.

Finally, before botteling, Por tí is aged for 18months in barrels of american and french oak.

Luzón, located in the north of Murcia, is one of the most prominent winerys of the Jumilla D.O region. It´s 500 hectares of vineyards are surrounded by mountains and olive tres, which makes for spectacular views.

2020
Por Tí 2020 is a red wine of remarkable concentration and complexity. Its bouquet is distinguished by intense aromas of ripe red fruits, complemented by delicate spicy hints, fine cocoa, and subtle toasted notes from the oak. On the palate, it reveals a firm structure, with mature and sweet tannins that provide a smooth and flavourful passage. With a long and persistent finish, it is a pleasant and balanced wine, ideal for those seeking a profound and pleasurable tasting experience.

Por Tí 2018 is a richly concentrated red wine, boasting an opaque cherry hue with a garnet rim. The bouquet is predominantly fruity, exuding robust scents of dark berries, red fruits, and spices. On the palate, it is extensive, delightfully flavorsome, and sweet. The finish is enduring.
2009 Delectable and well-structured, exhibiting appealing, sweet, and ripe tannins. It culminates in an enduring, lengthy finish.

Cherry red with garnet hues.

It reveals spicy undertones and ripe red fruit aromas, with toasted hints from its time in the barrel.
