As you draw near, the nose is enveloped by aromas of ripe red and black fruits, such as cherries and blackberries, complemented by subtle ageing notes reminiscent of toasted cocoa and spices like vanilla. Upon tasting, it is round and silky, with pronounced flavours of ripe fruit and a delicate spicy touch that perfectly balances it. About Torre de Golbán Reserva

Torré de Golbán Reserva is a red wine from the D.O Ribera del Duero region produced by the Dominio de Atauta winery. This wine is made using only Tinto Fino grapes.

The grapes used for Torre de Golbán Reserva come from the Valle de Atauta, close to the river Duero and situated in the province of Soria. The vinyards are around 100 years old, situated at 900 metres above sea level and span over 45 hectares of land, 15 of which belong to the winery.

The area is home to a continental climate, although there is a small mediterranean influence. The vines grow on sandy and clay soils.

The vineyards are cared for and cultivated using only organic products, paying maximum respect to the environment. The harvest is carried out manually.

At the winery, the grapes first undergo alcoholic fermentation. After the vinification and production processes have been performed, Torre de Golbán Reserva is aged in french oak barrels of various sizes and different origins for twelve months. It then again ages in the bottle before being placed on the market.
