About Enate Varietales

The cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and syrah are the three most iconic red varieties of the DO Somontano. These grapes are used to craft Enate Varietales, a red wine where the harmony of these three grapes is blended with the unique character of each. The result is an elegant, balanced red wine full of nuances that you simply must not miss. 
 
The entity behind Enate Varietales is the Enate winery, which since 1991 has been combining tradition with modern techniques in both vineyard cultivation and the winemaking process. In the first instance, Enate owns 500 hectares of its own vineyards, spread across Salas Altas, Salas Bajas, Cregenzán, and Barbastro, cultivated with utmost respect for the environment. As for the winery, all processes are meticulously carried out: from manual harvesting to the ageing process, where Enate Varietales remains in new French oak barrels for at least 18 months. Regarding the rest of the process, Enate Varietales ferments in stainless steel tanks and also undergoes malolactic fermentation, resulting in a polished, balanced, and complex wine. 
 
Enate Varietales is a red wine that combines the best of these three varieties. Perfect for those seeking to discover the purest expression of the DO Somontano elevated to the cube.
